On behalf of our entire Board of Directors, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to join the Association of Managed Care Dentists (AMCD) - the only organization of its kind. 

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to representing the interests of dentists and their patients in managed care and PPO settings.  Our association is made up almost entirely of volunteer dentists, who like you, wanted to make sure that our voices and our unique concerns were heard by both the insurance industry and by the governmental and legislative bodies that regulate the dental and insurance sectors.  We came together to advocate on behalf of our patients and our profession, and have emerged as a leading force in this arena.  

In addition to advocacy, we also work to educate and empower our members.  We help dentists with tools and practical advice needed to more successfully manage their HMO and PPO plans.  We continue to advocate for a voice in the way insurance plans are designed and we work to make HMO and PPO plans financially viable for dentists so that we can continue to deliver quality care to our patients.
